Brighton and Hove Albion have some injury worries ahead of the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night (7.30pm kick off).
The Seagulls travel to the City Ground as they look to bounce back from the disappointment of an FA Cup semi-final penalty shootout defeat against Manchester United. But it’s a crucial match for Forest in the fight against relegation.
Following Tuesday night’s matches, Forest are now two points adrift of Leicester City in 17th place in the Premier League table, although they do have a worse goal difference than their rivals. The Reds currently sit in 19th place in the league, one point below 18th placed Everton.

Forest will be hoping that Brighton’s efforts on Sunday afternoon cause a hangover for their trip to the City Ground. Ahead of the game, Roberto De Zerbi has concerns over striker Danny Welbeck.
The forward was forced off vs Man United, but the Brighton boss seemed confident that he would be fit enough to feature against Forest. He did however confirm that fellow striker Evan Ferguson is expected to miss the game .
He will be joined on the sidelines by Adam Lallana, Jakub Moder, Jeremy Sarmiento and Tariq Lamptey. De Zerbi has already hinted that midfielder Facundo Buonanotte could be in line to make his first Premier League start for the club.
Forest, meanwhile, have their own injury list to worry about. Steve Cooper could have as many as 12 players ruled out of the game due to injury. Scott McKenna was the latest to be added this week as it was confirmed that the centre-back has suffered a broken collarbone.
