After a wet few days, it's set to be a brighter day across the region today.
On Thursday, December 29, there will be sunny periods with some blustery showers. According to forecasters, any showers will be over quickly and it will be largely dry with clear spells.
It will feel slighter colder, with temperatures around 7C and 8C. Rain is more likely on Friday, with brighter spells and showers developing in the afternoon.

The breezy conditions will turn into a more windy day on Friday but it will feel milder than Thursday with highs of 11C. Over New Year's Eve and into 2023, it will s tay changeable with periods of rain, heavy at times, interspersed by brighter and drier spells, according to the Met Office.
The BBC outlook for over the weekend reads: "Saturday will be rather breezy and cloudy with spells of rain. Turning drier with occasional bright spells in the afternoon, before further showers arrive in the evening.
"Sunday will start mostly dry with some sunshine but it will gradually turn dull and wet from the south. Monday will see any lingering rain clear early on and it will then be dry and bright. Trending less mild."
