Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor seen on set for first time on new Netflix film Bank of Dave

She'll soon be back on our screens as Daphne Bridgerton in the Netflix period drama Bridgerton.

But star Phoebe Dynevor looked a far cry from the Regency era as she filmed in Burnley.

Filming has started on the new Netflix biopic Bank Of Dave based on the successes of self-made millionaire Dave Fishwick.

Phoebe, who will reprise her role in Bridgerton when it returns to the streaming service on March 25, was sporting a stylish red biker jacket and a casual black T-shirt and jeans.

She was spotted on location alongside James Bond actor Rory Kinnear who was transformed into the charismatic businessman.

The feel-good film will tell the story of how Dave Fishwick set up the lending company Burnley Savings and Loans, also known as the Bank Of Dave, in his home town to help businesses in the area.

Trafford-born Phoebe, the eldest daughter of Coronation Street icon Sally Dynevor and Emmerdale screenwriter Tim Dynevor, looked in good spirits despite the rainy and blustery weather.

Phoebe, 26, who plays local doctor Alexandra in the movie, warded off the wet weather in a cosy-looking padded coat.

Last year she made her feature film debut in The Colour Room, the story of 1920s ceramic artist Clarice Cliff.

Phoebe started out on the BBC Rochdale-based school drama Waterloo Road, playing pupil Siobhan Mailey from 2009 to 2010.

She starred in the BBC series Prisoners' Wives from 2012 to 2013 and Dickensian from 2015 to 2016.

And from 2017 to 2021 she played Clare in the American comedy-drama Younger by Darren Starr who also created Sex and the City, Emily in Paris and the Sex and the City revival And Just Like That.
