It’s a feather in her cap.
The amorous spotlight is about to shine on Penelope Featherington in “Bridgerton” season 3, Nicola Coughlan announced Sunday night during Netflix’s FYSEE Space’s opening night ATAS panel, the Daily News learned.
Coughlan, 35, confirmed that #Polin — that is, the burgeoning love story between her character Penelope, and pal Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) — will take center stage next season.
The series, from Emmy-nominated executive producer Shonda Rhimes and based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling novels, debuted on the streamer in late 2020 to near-immediate adoration and quickly became the platform’s most popular series.
Season two, which premiered this March, has overtaken the first as Netflix’s most popular English language series ever.
The storyline isn’t the only “Bridgerton” news sure to make waves of late.
Last week, Netflix confirmed that the role of Francesca Bridgerton will no longer be played by Ruby Stokes next season, but instead by Hannah Dodd — recently seen in the streaming service’s “Anatomy of a Scandal.”
