A bride had quite the shock on her wedding day when she accidentally walked on her husband-to-be in the restroom only to find him breastfeeding on his mother, it has been claimed in a podcast.
The eye-popping claim was made during a podcast called Unfiltered Bride, when co-presenter and wedding planner Georgie Mitchell recounted a tale a wedding make-up artist called Jenny had told her when they had been working together. Building up the tension during the comedy podcast, Georgie told co-host Beth Smith how the bride had walked into the restrooms only to be confronted by what most people would say would be "enough to end a wedding".
Initially, Beth thought she meant that the groom had been caught cheating on her in the lavatories or had been secretly taking drugs, but Mitchell explained that her discovery was "much worse". The make-up artist claimed that she had been helping the bride-to-be to pay a visit to the restroom just before the wedding ceremony, when they burst upon the groom being breastfed by his own mother.
After the revelation, Beth, mouth wide open, exclaimed on the podcast: "Sorry, WHAT? Why would you marry a man [who still breastfeeds]? Why is his mom still producing milk?”, to which Georgie replied, "I don't think she knew that was what was happening!"
In an article published on The Mirror's website, she continued: "She'd obviously been doing it continuously to get to that point. Everybody is in the room waiting! But you definitely wouldn't kiss when they say, 'you may kiss the groom!'"
Listeners of the podcast, an excerpt of which was shared to TikTok, gathering nearly a million views, were quick to share their views on the bizarre tale. One person wrote: "The strongest man couldn't lift my jaw right now." Another commented: "Took 'mummy's boy' to a whole new level. OMG, I didn't know what to expect — but that was not even a fleeting thought!!"

And another staggered observer commented: "The way I was like, 'nothing could worse than him cheating'. . . Yup, that’s worse. I’d be a runaway bride so damn fast."
Another horrified person stated: “I thought you were gonna say that the groom was dead — but this was worse!”
Amazingly, the bride reportedly went ahead with the nuptials, although there would undoubtedly be some very awkward moments in the company of her mother-in-law in the weeks to come.
