Bride's wedding hit by thousands of flying ants "falling from the sky" in 'nightmarish' scenes

A woman had her wedding day 'ruined' as swarms of flying ants "fell from the sky" while 'nightmarish' conditions arrived just in time for her big day. But that wasn't all that went wrong, she also faced a thunderstorm during the ceremony and two trips to the hospital.

Explaining all in a video on TikTok, sister-in-law Mary Ashlee recalled all the horrors that took place on what should have been one of the happiest day of the bride's life. In a seemingly never-ending series of unfortunate events, she begun by telling viewers: "When I tell you what happened at my sister-in-law's wedding this past weekend, let's just say it was like every bride's nightmare."

While casually applying her makeup, she continued: "So, my sister-in-law was supposed to get married in October, at the beach. But, she and her husband decided to make it small by getting married at my in-laws' lake house."

The first incident took place when Mary's "sweet" dog got a bit too excited and accidentally bit the bride's father lip after jumping up at him when he bent down to pick something up. The worst part was that this happened the day before he was meant to be walking his daughter down the aisle.

Later that same day, Mary, her family and friends went for a big meal, the night before the wedding, and this is where Mary says the "the actual insanity happens." As they sat down to dine together at a "beautiful-five star garden restaurant," the mother of the bride begins feeling unwell.

Moments after standing up and saying her stomach hurts, she collapsed to the floor. Mary described her eyes as "black" and she was swiftly taken to the hospital in an ambulance after the family called 911.

However, it wasn't long before another incident occurred. As the family and friends walked to the car, the woman who was officiating the wedding tripped up and ended up breaking her foot. Fortunately she was still able to officiate the wedding the next day just, she just had to do it while sitting down.

When it came to the morning of the wedding day, Mary said the beach the bride and groom had arranged to get married on needed to be "repaired", since a storm had washed it away just "a couple days before". But it was when Mary says she was doing her sister-in-law's wedding hair that a very bizarre thing happened.

Mary's husband rushed into the room to let them know that "10,000 flying ants are just falling from the sky, and this was just a couple of hours before the ceremony, right where it was supposed to happen." Then just for the cherry on top, the groom accidentally "dropped the cake, which he felt horrible for."

When the ceremony did eventually begin, Mary says it "started to thunder, and then it started raining after." She ended the video by adding however that "the show went on."

The "nightmare" story captured many people's attention on TikTok, with the video being watched more than 716,000 times and getting hundreds of comments. One_Desperate_Housewife jokingly replied: "This should be a movie. Lol."

Yipekiyaaaaaaa added: "You jumped over the flying ants part way to nonchalantly," to which Mary herself replied: "Nothing phased me at this point lol." Overstimulated put: "10,000 flying ants ommmmmg."

Kimantha typed: "The worse the wedding, the better the marriage," and Mary responded: "That’s what we were all saying!!" D_living_ admitted: "The flying ants would have done it for me lol.. it’s a wrap."
