A bride due to be wed in England in two days time may have to fly to Dublin Airport to search for her wedding dress after her luggage got stuck there.
Kamille Catala was due to fly with Aer Lingus from Dublin to London Gatwick on Thursday but her flight was cancelled, reports DublinLive.
Though she was rebooked on a flight to Heathrow instead, when she arrived her checked-in bag - which had her wedding dress in it - wasn't there.
Kamille said she put in a claim with the airline, which said the bag would probably arrive at her address within 24 hours, but has still not retrieved it.
"I've called them five or six times. Their baggage claim department sent me a voicemail saying there's no update on anything," she told DublinLive.
"So it's terrible. On the online system it says they're still searching for my bag.
"I believe it's still in Dublin Airport because there hasn't been any update on it online.
"It was never rescanned so it should still be there."
Kamille said she feels her only hope to get her bag back in time is to fly to back to Dublin and look for it herself.
"I'm getting married in England on Monday," she said.
"I'm considering taking a flight back to Dublin today to talk to them in person and say 'my bag is here, you need to give this to me'.
"I can't get through to anyone. Customer service has said they don't know anything about it.
"I've explained that my wedding dress is in the bag so many times but they've just sent me to the same link and told me to check their FAQs.
"It's a tight timeframe. All my clothes is in there and all my everything is in there".
Dublin Live has contacted Aer Lingus for comment.
On their website, Aer Lingus advise passengers to contact them on their baggage phone number if luggage is missing.
They said: "If your bags are delayed or missing, please tell a member of staff at the information desk when you arrive at your final destination, or contact us using the Baggage phone number.
"Your baggage tag number is an important element in reporting your baggage missing. You'll find this number on any baggage receipts you were given when you checked in.
"Your baggage tag number contains two letters and six numbers e.g. EI654321. If you used our Express Bag Drop you can get your baggage tag number here.
"We will advise you once your baggage has been received and arrange a convenient time for delivery."
