A brick was thrown at a bus in South Bristol last night (July 25). Police said the brick went through the window of the vehicle, while a bus company temporarily diverted services as a result of the incident.
Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement: "We were called on Monday 25 July after a bus was damaged in Bishopsworth.
“An unknown person threw an object, reported to have been a brick, through the window of the vehicle in Anton Bantock Way at about 5.20pm. We are not aware of there being any injuries.

“CCTV enquiries will be undertaken to try to identify the person responsible. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call 101 and give reference number 5222177562.”
Bus services were diverted yesterday after the incident. In a tweet yesterday evening (July 25) Air Decker said: "Due to an incident involving one of our vehicles being hit by a brick this evening in the Hartcliffe area we are diverting all services until the end of the day."
On Air Decker's website, the company went on to say that it had "made the decision to divert all buses for the remainder of the day in the interest of passenger, driver and vehicle safety. Buses will not serve the South Bristol link road but will travel via Whitchurch Lane, Whitchurch Road, Church Lane and Kingshead Lane before returning to normal route along the A38.
"This diversion is in place with immediate effect in both directions. Apologies for any disruption to your journey."
