Brice Samba continues to impress for RC Lens in Ligue 1 with his side's promising start to the season putting pressure on star-studded leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Nottingham Forest shot-stopper made the switch from the City Ground in the summer after turning down a fresh contract at the club. The 28-year-old was of one the key players in Forest's promotion campaign back to the Premier League last season.
In France, Samba has so far played in all 15 games under manager Franck Haise, contributing with seven clean sheets along the way. Lens' fine form has caught the eye of many as they sit just five points from a PSG side that boasts Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe among the players on their books.

With Haise's side having so far lost one game and won 11, the World Cup break is perhaps coming at the wrong time for Samba and co. "We finish in the best way at home. What a start to the season," Samba wrote on Twitter following Lens' 2-1 home win over Clermont Foot on Saturday.
A Lens fan replied: "You're a monster in goal Brice. I don't know if I've seen that in more than 25 years. Thank you for everything!," before a second added: "No words for your first 15 games. Thank you for signing for us."
A third continued: "Historical. We rest and we come back, big congratulations to your great start to the season," and a fourth joked: "What did you eat in England?"
