Brian McFadden and his fiancee Danielle Parkinson welcome baby girl following miscarriage tragedy

Brian McFadden has shared his joy with fans after welcoming a baby girl with his fiancee Danielle Parkinson.

The 41-year-old singer, who shot to fame as a member of the boyband Westlife, has delighted followers by sharing an adorable photo of himself pushing his daughter in a pram.

The star was showered with congratulations after he posted the picture on his Instagram with an emotional message.

"Mammy, Daddy and baby out for our first walk together. It’s been the best week of our life @daniparky," he wrote.

Brian and Danielle revealed last year that they were expecting a 'miracle' baby after suffering two miscarriages.

They told OK! magazine thay they had turned to IVF after trying for a baby for two years.

Danielle, from Rochdale, fell pregnant twice, but both ended in devastating miscarriages.

The former PE teacher said: "It does (feel like a miracle) but I feel awful saying that, as I’ve had so many messages on Instagram.

"The IVF community is so lovely and I’ve heard real traumatic stories from people who have been trying for 10 years, people who have had eight-plus miscarriages, so I feel we got lucky on our third attempt."

The couple told the magazine that Mike Tindall and Zara Phillips put them in touch with a nutritionist who they credited as helping them to conceive.

Former Dancing On Ice contestant Brian explained: "Mike and Zara put us in touch with Simone the nutritionist who got us prepared for this time.

"After we had the miscarriage, we sat with them and talked. This woman would put us on a certain diet, and Mike guaranteed it would work."

And Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore, who also recently became a mum, said: "Congrats!x"

"Awww massive congratulations to you both welcome to the world little one," said another follower.

Brian, who is now one half of the singing duo Boyzlife with former Boyzone member Keith Duffy, also has two daughters, Molly, 19, and Lilly-Sue, 17, from his marriage to former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona.

The Irish pop star got engaged to Danielle in December 2019.

The couple announced that they would be having a baby girl back in January.

Sharing a scan photo, Brian said: "Hello to our little angel! We're having a GIRL!!!!!!!!"
