Brian Kelly’s accent is once again a thing.
Remember: The LSU coach is from Massachusetts. Yet, somehow, back in December, he spoke at a Tigers basketball game and suddenly, he was out here saying “family” like he was from Shreveport. Seriously, people couldn’t stop laughing at it.
He’s addressed the accent since then, but on SEC Media Days on Monday, there he was speaking to reporters … and no Southern accent! It was a very flat, not-really-Massachusetts-at-all approach, and maybe he was conscious of it since he became a whole meme for a while.
