Brian Dowling has joked that he has landed his first full time job since he worked in Ryanair – as he takes up a new role on 98FM.
The Big Brother star will join Suzanne Kane as co-host of 98FM’s daytime show from 10am until 1pm.
The new signing was announced live on air with Suzanne on Thursday morning.
She said: “Myself and Brian Dowling are teaming up, we’re consciously coupling up on the radio,” with Brian adding, "to have this opportunity with you, I’m so excited, I’ve never really done radio before.
He joked: “Just so you know, Suzanne you’ll be doing the heavy lifting Monday to Friday.”
He told Suzanne: “this is the first time in years I have a full-time job! I've gotta be good...” to which she replied laughing: “You do need to turn up everyday.”
Brian admitted that his last full-time job was when he worked in Ryanair “back in 1954”.
Suzanne and Brian worked together before on Ireland AM and are already good pals.
Brian Dowling & Suzanne Kane kicks off from 10am on 98FM on Monday, March 27.
