Brian Dowling and husband Arthur Gourounlian feel 'so blessed' to celebrate first Christmas with daughter

Brian Dowling has said that he feels "so blessed" as he and husband Arthur Gourounlian celebrated their first Christmas with baby daughter Blake.

The Big Brother star shared lovely pics on Instagram of his family as he wished his followers a Happy Christmas on Sunday. In the sweet photos, Brian and husband Arthur along with their baby daughter Blake were each clad in matching festive pyjamas as they stood in front of their lovely Christmas tree.

They were also later joined by Brian’s younger sister Aoife, who acted as the couple's surrogate, and Arthur's mum, Maria in other pics from Christmas Day. Taking to Instagram, Brian wrote: "HAPPY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE. Christmas 2022, we have this.

"To think, this time last year, when we all posed for our annual Christmas Eve pic, Blake was already growing in @effidy_dowling_ belly. It had only been less than a week since the embryo transfer. As @gourounlian & I got our pose on, we hoped and HOPED that this year our bundle of joy would be posing alongside us.

"Proving you never know what is going on behind anyone’s smile." Proud dad Brian also revealed that their three-month-old daughter Blake is certainly "not camera shy".

He said: "She loves watching herself, especially in the mirror. All she does is laugh."

Brian added: "We feel so blessed this year that we can share our joy with both our families Christmas is all about family. This time of year can also be a sad and emotional time for many people.

"Whether it’s through loss or difficult family situations, all anyone can do is their best. Don’t let the pressures of Christmas or social media get to you."
