If Brian Baldinger is breaking down your play on Twitter, you must be doing something right.
The NFL Network and Fox Sports analyst posted cut ups of his favorite plays from new Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson. The Texans traded up with the Arizona Cardinals to take Anderson No. 3 overall, the second pick of Houston’s nine-man class that Baldinger described as “great.”
Baldinger introduced the clips as one last tour around the Southeastern Conference for Anderson, who was the conference’s defensive player of the year the past two seasons.
The first clip Baldinger started out with was against Arkansas.

“See that right there? That bend is elite right there. Now, you just keep coming. You turn the corner. You force and errant throw.
“Then you go to Mississippi State — just watch him attack the inside shoulder here. Power. Inside shoulder here to Will Rogers, just keep coming, take Will Rogers down.
“Let’s go to Tennessee, Hendon Hooker, he’s a three technique here. He just keeps coming sometimes. Sometimes you just got to be relentless. Sacks aren’t always easy. Sometimes you just got to keep coming and keep coming and taking down Hendon Hooker. Nothing stops you from getting to the prize.”
Anderson generated 34.5 sacks and 58.5 tackles for loss in 41 career games with the Crimson Tide.
The last Texans player with at least 10.0 sacks in a season was J.J. Watt in 2018 with 16.0. No Texans rookie has ever recorded double-digit sacks.
