If you weren’t already aware of the news, Boris Johnson has resigned as the Prime Minister. In classic Brewdog form, they’ve been quick to act and have announced a brand new IPA that will be dispatching from August 1st.
Named the ‘ Boris Lie-PA ’, Brewdog call it a “beer fit for a work party”. The Boris Lie-PA is a resignation hazy IPA brewed to celebrate the next chapter. Weighing in at 5.5%, the beer’s crafted with oats and wheat for a full-bodied finish, pouring bright and opaque with aromas of citrus and exotic fruits. Soft, fruity, fresh and beautifully balanced, Boris Lie-PA is here for a limited time, so don’t expect this beer to out-stay its welcome…
Available in a four pack for £5.95 or get 12 cans for £16.95 - plus the £2.95 standalone delivery.
Earlier this afternoon, the Prime Minister made a statement outside Number 10 Downing Street where Boris Johnson said “It is clearly now the will of the Parliamentary Conservative party that there should be a new leader of that party and therefore a new prime minister.
And I’ve agreed with Sir Graham Brady, the chairman of our back bench MPs, that the process of choosing that new leader should begin now.
The timetable will be announced next week and I’ve today appointed a Cabinet to serve, as I will, until a new leader is in place.”
This comes after more than 50 Tories quit in the past 24 hours.
