Here at SportsCasting, we have the Brentford vs Bournemouth preview, prediction, latest team news and predicted lineups ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash.

Brentford Vs Bournemouth Preview

Brentford

After their late collapse on Monday night, Brentford will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Bournemouth at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Bees were well and truly stung by an injury-time brace from Fulham’s Harry Wilson at Craven Cottage on GW10. The 2-1 defeat to their west London rivals ensure Thomas Frank’s side remain in 12th.

More alarmingly, Frank has yet to pick up a single point on the road in the Premier League this season. Only newly-promoted Southampton share the same record away from home.

However, the Londoners have been different gravy on home soil. In their five outings, Frank’s team have picked up four wins. The only blemish came in a 1-1 draw with West Ham on September 28.

Supporters certainly got their money’s worth throughout October. At the start of the month, Brentford crushed Wolves 5-3 before beating Ipswich in a seven-goal thriller on GW9.

Those goal gluts mean the Bees are the top scorers on home turf in 2024/25 and share the best record alongside reigning champions Manchester City.

Bournemouth

After their heroics against the Cityzens last time out, Bournemouth will be brimming with confidence going into Saturday’s clash against their mid-table rivals.

The Cherries can also boast a fine 2-0 victory over Arsenal as well this season. Both of those wins have helped catapult Andoni Iraola’s side into the top half of the table.

Away from the Vitality Stadium, the south coast club have been a lot less lethal. Their only victory came back in August when they battled back from two goals down to beat Everton 3-2.

On their last outing on the road, club-record signing Evanilson scored a 96th minute equaliser to ensure a share of the spoils against high-flying Aston Villa.

The 24-year-old Brazilian has started to find his feet in England’s elite. Another goal on Saturday will make it three goals in as many league games.

Ahead of the clash at the Gtech Community Stadium, the best football betting sites make Brentford the 31/20 match favourites. The draw is available at 13/5 with Iraola’s men 9/5.

Brentford Vs Bournemouth Team News

The quartet of Igor Thiago (knee), Josh Dasilva (knee), Aaron Hickey (thigh) and Gustavo Nunes (back) are all ruled out for Brentford.

Long-term absentee Rico Henry may feature at some point as he nears a return from a long-term knee injury. However, the defender certainly won’t start.

Towering centre-back Kristoffer Ajer is likely to make the XI. The Norwegian international missed Monday’s defeat with a foot injury but has since returned to full training.

For Bournemouth, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Dango Ouattara and Luis Sinisterra are all rated 50/50. However, midfielder Alex Scott is definitely ruled out.

Therefore, the same starting lineup that beat Manchester City 2-1 are all likely to get the nod once again in west London. Kepa could take the gloves from Mark Travers in the only possible change.

Ryan Christie is skating on thin ice going into the fixture. The Scottish international is just one booking away from receiving an automatic one-match ban.

Brentford Vs Bournemouth Predicted Lineups

Brentford (4-3-3): Flekken; Van den Berg, Collins, Pinnock, Ajer; Damsgaard, Norgaard, Janelt; Mbeumo, Wissa, Lewis-Potter

Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Travers; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Christie, Cook; Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier; Evanilson

Brentford Vs Bournemouth Prediction

It’s hard not to see a goal fest in west London on Saturday afternoon between Brentford and Bournemouth. The home side have netted for fun this season with the Cherries more than capable of stinging the Bees.

We are going to sit on the fence and back an entertaining high-scoring draw. Especially with the likes of Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, Antoine Semenyo and Evanilson in action.

Prediction: Brentford 2-2 Bournemouth
