Brentford striker Ivan Toney has completed a transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli, as announced by both clubs on Friday. The deal, reportedly worth £40 million ($53 million), sees Toney signing a lucrative three-year contract with Al Ahli.
Toney, who had attracted interest from top Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, had been a key player for Brentford. Despite efforts to retain him, the club decided to sell the striker as he entered the final year of his contract.

However, Toney faced a setback in May 2023 when he was suspended by the English Football Association for eight months due to multiple breaches of betting regulations. The striker was later diagnosed as a gambling addict, leading to a reduction in his ban.
