Brentford manager Thomas Frank has claimed that his side have the possibility to beat Newcastle United "no matter how big of a difference there is in terms of the financial situation" between the two clubs.
Newcastle head into the match 10 points ahead of the Bees having beaten West Ham 5-1 on Wednesday night. Brentford lost 1-0 to Manchester United in midweek as they now look to bounce back against the Magpies.
Frank has admitted just how proud he is of his team for their level of performance this season, a campaign that sees them sit seven points adrift of a Europa League spot. Speaking ahead of the Newcastle clash, the Dane believes that his side are capable of getting a result against their opponents regardless of the financial disparity between the teams.

"No matter how big of a difference there is in terms of the financial situation, there is always a chance when you go into a game," he said.
"We have found a way to compete in the Premier League, but also a way to compete against the 'top six' where we tweak it slightly compared to some of the other games, maybe that is the key.
"It shouldn't be possible, but on the other hand, it is possible because this is football and that is the beauty of it. I love my team. I think their application, determination and work rate is an example to follow for a lot of clubs."
