A teenager stabbed to death outside a birthday party in Brent on Friday has been named as 17-year-old Claudyo Jauad Lafayette.
Police believe Mr Lafayett was fatally stabbed when a fight broke out in a busy street following a party.
Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene in Granville Road around 11.20pm on Friday, but despite their best efforts Mr Lafayett died at the scene.
A post-mortem held on Tuesday gave the cause of his death as a stab wound to the abdomen, Scotland Yard has said.
Mr Lafayette’s family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Another male, also believed to be 17 years old, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
A woman in her early 20s, received hospital treatment for a hand injury, and has since been discharged.
Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the incident.
On Saturday, an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has been released on bail.
On Monday, officers arrested two other 18-year-old men. They have also been released on bail.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, who is leading the investigation, said on Thursday: “Although we have arrested three people in connection with this murder, I am certain that there is more information that will help our investigation. I urge anyone who is yet to come forward to please speak with us.
“A birthday party has ended in tragedy, and a family has been left mourning the loss of a young man who had his whole life ahead of him.
