Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson insists he is 'gutted' that his side couldn't hold on for all three points after the draw against Everton at Goodison Park.
The Wales international put Forest ahead in the 81st minute, but just seven minutes later, Everton's Demarai Gray levelled it up after he latched onto a long pass from goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and finished past Dean Henderson. Johnson was frustrated that Forest failed to keep their first clean sheet on the road this term.
"The overriding feeling is we’re gutted, we played really well for spells during the game," Johnson told Sky Sports. "We knew we had to get some sort of point today. We came here to win and knew that if we played well, we’d have the chance. We've just got to tackle the positives hopefully into the next two games."

On scoring his first Premier League goal, Johnson added: "It’s a special feeling, especially with the fans in the away end. It’s a really proud feeling for me."
After Forest's Carabao Cup first round tie against Grimsby Town on Tuesday night, Cooper's side face two tricky games against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City. The Reds currently sit in eighth position after winning, drawing and losing in their opening three games to the new campaign against Newcastle United, West Ham and Everton.
