New Leeds United man Brenden Aaronson has revealed what he's most excited about in playing for his new club this upcoming season. The 21-year-old joined the club last month for a large sum - costing the club £25 million from Red Bull Salzburg as he arrives in West Yorkshire with high expectations.
Aaronson had interest from other clubs across Europe, but wanted to test himself in the Premier League and also stated that he felt Leeds United was the perfect place for him to be. Aaronson is currently away on international duty, but will return to Leeds next month to begin pre-season training as he will reunite with his former boss Jesse Marsch - who coached him in Austria.
Speaking to the In Soccer We Trust podcast, Aaronson stated what he's most looking forward to in the Premier League.

He said: "It's always been a dream to play in the Premier League and play against the best. The atmosphere from the fans in stadiums that I have grown up wanting to pay going to play at Anfield or Old Trafford - in stadiums like this. Just to play at this level, I am so excited.
"My family and girlfriend probably wouldn't want to hear this, but if I could I would go straight to Leeds because I am so excited and ready to get started."
When asked who he's excited to play against, he said: "There's so many that I watch week in and week out, but Kevin de Bruyne is number one on that list. He drives with the ball, he's so fast - that's a jersey I'd definitely want.
"And in terms of a stadium, I have always wanted to play at Anfield. I was a huge Steven Gerrard fan, and I loved Fernando Torres - that era. So I'm definitely excited to play at Anfield."
