Time to go: Rodgers wants decisive action at Leicester

The club endured a slow summer transfer window amid financially difficulty, signing only one player in the form of Wout Faes.
It led to a dismal start to the season for Rodgers’ side, who were rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table until October.
While their League position has improved since, it looks set to be another tough summer for the Foxes, with seven members of the first-team squad soon out of contract.
Youri Tielemans is arguably the standout name in that list and Standard Sport understands Arsenal have long-held an interest in a move for the Belgian midfielder.
Caglar Soyuncu, Jonny Evans, Daniel Amartey, Ryan Bertrand, Papy Mendy and Ayoze Perez are also free to talk to foreign clubs this month ahead of what looks like a period of rebuilding at the King Power Stadium.
Rodgers is eager to keep many of his players but called on the club to walk away from negotiations if the demands simply cannot be met.
“If someone doesn’t want to be here, or someone wants too much money to be here, we have to be brave enough to say: ‘Thank you very much and on you go,” he said at a press conference on Thursday.
“We’re not a club with masses of resources that can facilitate every single player’s need, especially from a financial side.
“A number of these guys are down on their last year, we’ve said before that we’d like them to stay, but there has to be a point in time where if what they want is too demanding for us as a club, and if the time is right, that they have to move on. We have to do that and then look forward.”
