Liam Scales will likely miss the Scottish Cup tie between Celtic and Hibernian.
Brendan Rodgers has revealed the defender will sit out of the cup contest at Celtic Park due to a facial injury.
Scales, 26, suffered a cheekbone injury against St Mirren last weekend but played on in the 5-2 win in Paisley.
However, it's expected he won't be involved this weekend in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup.
"Liam Scales will probably miss out," said Rodgers of the centre-back.
"Cheekbone from the St Mirren game where he showed great courage to continue with that.
"He has had an X-ray on that so we have to be mindful with him."

Callum McGregor is fit for the match, though, with the Celtic captain training on Friday morning.
He had hobbled off against St Mirren last weekend but is back in contention against Hibs.
Asked about the skipper, Rodgers said: "Yeah, he trained this morning."
Paulo Bernado, meanwhile, will remain sidelined until after the international break.
The midfielder has an outside chance of making the derby match against Rangers but will likely only return after the international break later this month.
"Paulo won't be until after the international break," said Rodgers.
"I doubt he will make Rangers but after that he should be okay."
