Brendan Rodgers names Celtic starting XI to face Hibernian in Scottish Cup

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has named his team to face Hibernian in the Scottish Cup this afternoon.

The Leith side travel to Parkhead riding the crest of a wave. Unbeaten in their last 15 and just off the back of an Edinburgh derby victory last weekend, David Gray's men have quiet confidence going into this one.

Rodgers, though, has never lost a Scottish Cup tie in charge of Celtic and victory in the tie is necessary for his team to take another step towards a highly sought-after domestic treble.

The last time the sides met, Hibs emerged 2-1 winners, with Josh Campbell's first-half brace proving crucial. The Parkhead club will hope the tables turn this time around.

For the game, which kicks off at 3pm, Celtic boss Rodgers has made "" changes from his team's 5-2 victory over St Mirren last Saturday.

Confirmed Celtic starting XI: Schmeichel, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Schlupp, McGregor, Engels, Hatate, Jota, Kuhn, Maeda.

Subs: Sinisalo, Taylor, Idah, Yang, McCowan, Kenny, Murray, Ralston.
