Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was full of praise for winger Yang Hyun-jun after he scored in the Hoops’ enthralling 3-3 draw with Dundee on Tuesday evening.
The South Korean put the Bhoys 2-1 up at the beginning of the second half, only for them to be pegged back moments later when Cameron Carter-Vickers diverted Josh Mulligan's low cross into his own net.
It was Yang's first goal of the season and second overall since joining the Scottish Premiership champions a year and a half ago from Gangwon FC in his homeland.
Post-match, Celtic boss Rodgers was full of praise for the 22-year-old, who he revealed has been working hard behind the scenes at Lennoxtown: "He gave everything in the game," he said.
"I've got to say he's done about 100 hours [of] shooting practice, and he scores with a header! He's worked so hard at his game, bless him. He gives his all.
"He had some good moments in the first half. He puts so much extra work in the training field."
Amid recent injuries to Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn, Yang has been handed a somewhat unexpected run of starts for his side over the past few games.
While he hasn't set the heather alight, Rodgers will be hoping his midweek header can catalyse a prosperous run of form as Celtic prepare to kick of their defence of the Scottish Cup against Kilmarnock on Saturday night.
