Brendan Rodgers has insisted he is "not aware" of any Celtic transfer bid for Sarpsborg winger Sondre Orjasaeter.
According to Norwegian outlet TV2, Celtic are keen to land the winger this month in a major transfer signing.
It's thought it could cost in the region of £7m to sign Orjasaeter this month with Sarpsborg keen to keep hold of the 21-year-old.
Sky Sports reports suggested Celtic made contact with Sarpsborg over the player in December ahead of a formal bid for the player.
But Rodgers has claimed he is not aware of any move for Orjasaeter this month.
In his press conference ahead of facing Aston Villa, Rodgers simply stated: "I'm not aware of that at all. I don't know."

Addressing the players potential exit, Sarpsborg sporting director Hampus Andersson told TV2: “There has been interest in Sondre throughout this transfer window, but from experience it is only in the last days of the transfer window that things really happen. So we will see what happens.
"Our basic attitude is that we want to keep Sondre as long as possible.
"Sondre is important to us – it's almost like people have season tickets just to see Sondre."
