Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has issued a blunt response to Barry Ferguson's appointment as Rangers head coach.

Ferguson has taken the reigns until the end of the season and, alongside a coaching team of Issame Charai, Billy Dodds, Neil McCann and Allan McGregor, will look to bring some much-needed stability to the ranks.
Speaking ahead of Celtic's game against Aberdeen this evening, though, Rodgers gave a question on Ferguson's appointment the cold shoulder.
He said [BBC]: "With the greatest respect, I'm concentrating on Celtic vs Aberdeen, and that's my only focus."
Rodgers will come up against Ferguson in a few weeks when the former Rangers captain brings his side to Parkhead on March 16.
The last time Celtic faced their city rivals, they lost 3-0 at Ibrox, although there remains a multitude of football to be played before Glasgow's big two lock horns once again.
