Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers says his players have gained valuable European experience after coming from behind to win 2-1 against PSV in a Europa Conference League quarter-final.
The Foxes were looking at a last eight exit after Eran Zahavi's first half goal had PSV ahead 1-0 on aggregate after a stalemate last week.
The former Celtic boss admitted he knew little about the tournament before entry but he's loving life now.
But Rodgers rang the half-time changes with Patson Daka and Ademola Lookman coming on in attack.
James Maddison got Leicester on level terms and Ricardo Pereira's goal in the 88th minute sealed progression, where they will face Bodo/Glimt or Jose Mourinho's Roma in the semi-finals.
Rodgers has guided the King Power Stadium club into their first European semi-final and says his players have taken plenty from it.
He said: "I am very proud. It's a big credit to the players and their personality. We just kept going as at times we don't make it easy for ourselves.
"We are a team that is so, so young in terms of European football. PSV are a club with an incredible history in Europe.
"48 qualifications they have in Europe so this is a great experience for us. I'm so happy for the players as they have taken another step to reach the club's first semi-final."
It's a contrast from the former Celtic boss' comments back in December, who after exiting the Europa League, stated he wasn't sure what competition his side had dropped into.
The 49-year-old explained after his side's group stage exit last year: 'I've got to be honest, I don't even know what the competition is.
"'In all fairness, I was focused on the Europa League and winning this group, or at the very least finishing second.
"So with all due respect to the competition, I'm not sure what it is. But I'm sure I will find out soon enough."
