Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that James Maddison remains a doubt ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal.
The Gunners currently sit on top of the league table, two points clear of second-placed Manchester City with a game in hand on Pep Guardiola and co. Next up for the north London outfit is a trip to the King Power Stadium, where they will take on Leicester, who sit 14th ahead of this weekend's fixtures.
The Foxes could be without star player Maddison, who has suffered with a persistent knee problem this term, with Rodgers offering an update on the England international during Thursday's pre-match press conference. "We’re starting to get a lot of players back," the former Liverpool head coach said.

"We have to see how James Maddison is though. He’s still nursing a knee issue, so we’ll have to assess that tomorrow after training."
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be without one of his key players for the match as well. First-choice striker Gabriel Jesus is sidelined with his own knee injury, albeit a much more serious one. The 25-year-old suffered medial ligament damage during Brazil's 2022 World Cup campaign in Qatar and Gunners supporters will be desperate for the talented forward to return to action sooner rather than later.
When asked for an update on Jesus' recovery process last week, Arteta said: "Doing really well. He’s on the pitch, he’s been doing quite a lot of work on the ball already and so far his rehab is going well."
Jesus has netted five goals and provided a further five assists in his 14 league outings for Arsenal, joining from Manchester City last summer.
