Brendan Rodgers has become Celtic manager ahead for the second time after agreeing terms on a return to the Scottish giants. The former Leicester City boss has been unveiled as Ange Postecoglou's successor, four years after leaving the club for the Foxes.
Rodgers was named in reports as a potential contender to take charge at Leeds United as the Whites plot a summer rebuild ahead of their bid to secure a swift return to the Premier League. However, the odds on the ex-Liverpool manager being appointed at Elland Road was always slim, with the 50-year-old said to be unconvinced at the prospect of dropping down to the Championship at this stage of his career.
Rodgers' first spell with Celtic was hugely successful, with eight trophies won as he was twice named the Scottish Premiership Manager of the Season. Negotiations over a return emerged last week, and now an agreement has been struck.

Daniel Farke has emerged as a potential contender for the hotseat at Elland Road, having left Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach earlier this month. The former Norwich City boss twice led the Canaries to the Premier League during a four-year stint with the club.
Carlos Corberan and Scott Parker have both also been linked with the role. Leeds are awaiting EFL approval for the club's takeover by minority shareholders 49ers Enterprises, with Whites chairman Andrea Radrizzani closing in on his buyout of Serie B side Sampdoria.
