Brendan Gleeson has hailed his Golden Globe nods as ‘sensational’ and admitted it feels ‘doubly’ sweet to be able to share the celebrations with his son Domhnall.
The Banshees of Inisherin star is up for the golden gong in January alongside his fellow cast and crew including Kerry Condon, Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan and writer-director Martin McDonagh, as the Irish dark comedy leads the nominations ceremony with eight nods on Monday.
And the luck of the Irish continued as his son Domhnall has also been nominated for the US awards for best actor in a supporting role in the TV series category for his performance in psychological thriller, The Patient.
