Brenda Edwards wiped away tears in a touching moment on Loose Women today.
The Loose Women panelist revealed how she received a poignant letter from King Charles in the wake of her son, Jamal Edwards', death. The royal was the Prince of Wales at the time of Jamal's passing, but he still thanked Jamal for all of his hard work in the letter, which came accompanied by white flowers.
The grieving mum recalled the moment that she opened her door to a smartly dressed gentleman stood there with a hat in his hand. He passed her a bouquet of white roses with a letter that had her name on it.

"My heart goes out to you more than I can ever say. I will never forget Jamal's dedication and support in helping with my Prince's Trust over the years. His commitment as an ambassador has made the most enormous difference to the trust's work and has helped to change the lives of countless young people."
Brenda, heartbreakingly continued as she wiped away tears. She said: "I have such fond memories of the times I met him and can ill afford in this country to lose someone exceptionally special as your dear son. I feel this letter can only be hopelessly inadequate under such soul destroying circumstances and will probably be no comfort of whatsoever in making your sense of anguish any easier to bare."
