Established in 1884, Breitling is a contemporary brand that has plunged into the hospitality sector.
The Swiss watchmaker has incorporated a café and its first-ever restaurant in its new and largest flagship store located in the fashionable Hannam district of Seoul, South Korea.
"It's the complete Breitling experience under one roof," says CEO Georges Kern. "This new flagship is unlike anything you've ever seen in watch retail. From the moment you step in, you'll recognise the relaxed, industrial-loft-inspired atmosphere that says everything about our casual, inclusive, and sustainable approach to luxury.''
Streamlined contemporary design pairs with vintage decor to give Breitling's retail spaces a modern-retro feel. The industrial-loft concept has been taken to a much larger scale at the 750m² Breitling Townhouse Hannam, which spreads over two floors.
The street-level Breitling Café serves a selection of speciality coffees, freshly baked goods, and fine patisseries.
On the 2nd floor, the Breitling Kitchen is a cooperation with chef Kim Hyeong-Kyu. Visitors can choose from seating zones themed by air, sea and land or reserve a private dining room in the Breitling universe of their choice.
The 180m² flagship boutique showcases Breitling's latest watch collections in an aviation-lounge-inspired atmosphere. A shop-in-shop further carries tools and accessories inspired by the brand's universes.
