Watford's home clash with Norwich City was temporarily brought to a stop following a floodlight failure.
In the 62nd minute, with the Canaries winning 1-0 thanks to Josh Sargent's goal not too long before, there was a power shortage and Mike Dean was left with no choice but to stop the match.
However, the issue was quickly fixed and play resumed. Unfortunately for Watford, they fell 2-0 down after Sargent grabbed his second to silence the home supporters at Vicarage Road.
Then, Emmanuel Dennis was shown a second yellow card with just over 10 minutes to go, making the Hornets' task even trickier.
In stoppage time, Norwich added a third to put the game beyond the hosts when Juraj Kucka diverted a ball from Adam Idah past Bachmann and into his own net.
The result sees Norwich climb out of the relegation places into 17th place, while Watford find themselves in the bottom three yet again.
Claudio Ranieri's side travel to Burnley on February 5 in what looks like a must win game for the Hornets.
