Tyson Fury will earn at least £25million from the defence of his heavyweight world title against Dillian Whyte.
Fury is entitled to 80 per cent of the £31m winning bid which was submitted by Frank Warren earlier today.
Whyte, therefore, will earn 20 per cent - or £6m - as he challenges for a world title for the first time.
Both fighters' purses will likely be boosted by their share of the pay-pe-view sales.
The fight must be held by April 29 with the Principality Stadium in Cardiff most likely to stage the bout.
BT Sport Box Office will show the fight in the UK with ESPN broadcasting the all-British clash in America.
Eddie Hearn missed out on promoting the fight after submitting a £24m offer.
Warren's offer, submitted on his behalf by Queensberry Promotions, was the highest ever made for a boxing fight.
A statement from Fury's US promoter Top Rank read: "Queensberry and Top Rank are delighted that WBC and lineal world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will defend his titles against Dillian Whyte following today's purse bids.
"A venue and date for the fight will be announced in due course."
The purse bid brought a conclusion to a frenetic week which erupted into a slanging match.
Hearn accused Fury of reneging on a deal to fight Oleksandr Usyk - on the proviso Anthony Joshua stepped away from his rematch with the Ukrainian in return for £15m and a shot at the winner of the undisputed fight.
Fury, however, claimed Hearn and Joshua had walked away from a deal worth $90million.

And his dad John later laid the blame at Hearn's door, claiming his son ditched the deal in spite.
"You know the best thing of it all? The deal was on the table for five weeks, five weeks! £15million for free, £5million for free [for Dillian Whyte] and now Tyson has done a U-turn and thought ‘f*** youse lot, you’re copping it," he told talksSPORT.
“Eddie Hearn… he thinks he’s clever but he’s not dealt with Fury before. He’s dealt with them now and wishes he’d never heard of the Fury name. He wishes the Fury name never existed.
“He’s just blown AJ a hundred million quid and he was getting 10 per cent of all that… he’s blown himself [sic]£20million. We are laughing at you my friend. You have egg on your face!
“You want business, Eddie? You need to stop asking your old fella for advice, believe me. A ten-year-old boy could’ve put that deal together."
