Thousands of users have reported an outage on Spotify with the streaming platform investigating the issues Thursday.
Over 15,000 users reported experiencing problems with the platform on Thursday, according to downdetector.com.
The owning company, Spotify Technology, said it was investigating some technical issues with its web page.
On its support page on Twitter, named SpotifyCares, it said: "We’re aware of some issues right now with our web page and are checking them out!"
The statement was posted at 1:59 pm BST, and about an hour later, at 3:10 pm, it indicated that the issue had been resolved.
The company said in an update then: "Everything’s looking much better now! Give us a shout if you still need help."
In the meantime, many users took to Twitter to share updates during the service disruption.
A user wrote: "Is Spotify down again?? my music isn't playing and i need motivation before i head to work."
Someone else said: "not spotify being down when i’m playing music for a whole cafe lmao."
And another wrote: "Spotify is down. It only wants to play like 3 songs and then it just doesn't want to connect to anything."
The platform experienced another global outage on April 19, which was resolved soon after.
