Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a teenager who has been reported missing from Airdrie.

Shaun Paul Baker was last seen about 9.30pm last Thursday (April 7) in the Plains area of the town.

It is believed the 17-year-old may frequent the areas of Clydebank, Glasgow and Dunbartonshire

Shaun Paul is described as 5ft 8in tall, with short brown hair and when last seen was wearing grey Nike jogging bottoms, black Nike trainers and a blue Berghaus jacket.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Anyone who may have seen Shaun Paul since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact us.

"Missing People Services operate a free helpline 7 days a week from 9am – 11pm for anyone who is thinking of going missing, is currently missing, or has friends or family who are missing.

"This can be accessed by phone or text on 116 000. For further details please visit their website."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.
