Piers Morgan is set to interview Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on his TalkTV show Uncensored in the coming days.
The major political interview will coincide with the PM’s 100th day in office at Downing Street, after taking over from his his controversial predecessor in No 10 Liz Truss following her 44-day tenure.
Piers Morgan took to Twitter to announce the prime-time interview, writing: "On his 100th day in office tomorrow, I will be sitting down with Prime Minister @RishiSunak at No 10 Downing Street for a wide-ranging exclusive interview."
The former Good Morning Britain presenter launched his TalkTV show off the back of his explosive exit from the ITV breakfast programme in 2021, following comments he made about Meghan Markle.
Piers has since revealed he would entertain the idea of having a face-to-face interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The Piers Morgan: Uncensored broadcaster is a fierce critic of the couple, who stepped down from royal duties in January 2020, and regularly berates Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for "trashing" the royal family.
Morgan, 57, believes the opportunity for Harry and Meghan, who relocated to Montecito, California following their decision to relinquish their work royal status, to get things "off their chests" during the potential sit down together.
Speaking on Spencer Matthews' Big Fish podcast, Morgan believes the time is now for both parties to come together and voice their opinions.
He said: "I do think the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be great for them and for me. I think that would be one of those meetings of minds where we could get it off our chest and move on."
Morgan still had time to get one of his famous digs in at the couple after branding Prince Harry as "completely deluded" during the podcast.
When asked whether he thought the Duke of Sussex has realised the "damage" he has caused to the his family, Piers responded: "No. I think he's completely deluded, completely deluded, very manipulated.
"I mean, they’re as bad as each other, to be honest with you. I think that he genuinely believes he can do all this."
The couple have come under severe scrutiny following the release of their six-part Netflix eponymous docuseries before Christmas and Harry's controversial best-selling memoir earlier this month.
He appeared on major news broadcasters around the world as part of the publicity tour for the book - Spare - with the 38-year-old speaking to ITV, NBC and CNN among others as he did the rounds.
