The long wait is over. We now know who will be the starting quarterback for the Ohio State Football team.
The competition went well into camp and head coach Ryan Day said his two front-runners, Kyle McCord and Devin Brown, were too close to pick one. The Ohio State boss named McCord the starter during his meeting with the media on Tuesday.
It is a bit of a surprise Day announced the decision, but both quarterbacks will still get time against Indiana in the season and Big Ten opener. It makes plenty of sense to start McCord on the road in the conference.

"Pleased we have two guys confident to play in this game."

Honestly, I don’t think this battle is over and there could be changes along the way before Day settles on one of the two. At least for now the suspense about who will be the Buckeyes starter is over.
