Mikel Arteta has spoken ahead of the game against Brighton in the Carabao Cup to suggest that Arsenal will go strong with their team. Despite a game with Wolves in just a few days time, the Spaniard is determined to progress through in the tournament.
Arsenal supporters will struggle to find a way to watch the game with it not being broadcast in the UK, US or Canada. Speaking with the club's media ahead of the third round of the domestic cup competition the Spaniard ensured to supporters that his side will be a competitive one.
“We’re going to pick a very competitive team. I think everyone deserves chances, and we’ll make some changes with judgement in relation to the load of the players, but we’ll play to win," the Spaniard said.

“The ones that haven’t played want to have their chance and feel that they are contributing to the team. The positive thing is that everybody has played games and everyone has been important. We have two games to go, and the focus has to be there because we know that afterwards, we have a big break.”
There have been players who have been left without many chances. The likes of Marquinhos, Reiss Nelson, Sambi Lokonga and Fabio Vieira have wanted to play more and Arteta stressed that these players are pushing.
“The ones that haven’t played want to have their chance and feel that they are contributing to the team," he said. "The positive thing is that everybody has played games and everyone has been important. We have two games to go, and the focus has to be there because we know that afterwards, we have a big break.”
Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi had thrown the gauntlet down to the Premier League leaders. The Italian said the team will be reflective of the challenge.
“It will be a good test, we will treat it seriously,” he said. “It’s a very important game. I can make some changes but it’s just as important as a Premier League game. We will try to win."
