A large earthquake has hit Turkey with aftershocks felt in multiple countries.
The magnitude 7.7 quake was detected in the southeast of the nation early on Monday, with some witnesses reporting shaking as far away as Israel.
Effects were observed across much of the Middle East, while some locations in Turkey have seen damage to buildings.
