A man has been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a house in Stockport.
Emergency services were called to the blaze at a property in Wellington Road North, Heaton Moor, shortly before 8pm today (Friday).
Firefighters put out the flames while a man was taken to hospital. His age and the extent of his injuries have not yet been revealed.

Pictures show several fire engines, police cars and an ambulance at the scene while a cordon is in place at the junction of Wellington Road North and Lawton Road. An air ambulance was also spotted landing in the area.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just before 8pm on Friday 7 April, GMFRS crews were called to reports of a fire at a home on Wellington Road North, Stockport.
“Three fire engines from Stockport, Whitehill and Gorton stations, as well as the hydraulic platform from Manchester Central, quickly attended the incident. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
“Firefighters and paramedics treated a man at the scene who was then taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.
“GMFRS crews remain in attendance making the area safe.”
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for further information.
