A man has died after a crash between a motorbike and a car in Wigan.
The smash happened on Hall Lane in Hindley at around 4pm yesterday (Thursday). A Honda CBR100 and Ford Focus collided, police said.
One of the drivers - confirmed by a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson as being a male - tragically suffered fatal injuries. The other driver remained at the scene.

They are assisting police with enquiries and no arrests have been made. Officers are now appealing for any witnesses of the crash to come forward.
A statement posted on the GMP Leigh, Atherton and Hindley Facebook page said: "#APPEAL | We’re investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Hall Lane in Hindley yesterday (1 September 2022). At around 4pm yesterday (1 September), officers were called to reports that a Honda CBR100 was travelling along Hall Lane in Hindley when it collided with a Ford Focus.
"The collision left one of the drivers with fatal injuries. The other driver remained at the scene and is assisting with our enquiries. No arrests have been made.
"Our enquiries are ongoing and we appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage from around the area at the time, to get in touch with us on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident number 2082 of 01/09/2022. Details can be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
