A major police presence remains within the grounds of a Paisley primary school.
Dozens of police officers and the emergency services have surrounded the Flexible Learning Centre, beside Brediland Primary School, in Morar Drive, Foxbar.
Police rushed to the area shortly after noon following reports of a disturbance.
A police cordon is in place around the school with officers guarding the facility.

An eyewitness said: “We were moved on from the area pretty quickly and judging on what cops were saying, things sounded pretty delicate.
“Two police officers were speaking with someone through a window at the flexible learning facility.
“They have been stood there talking to the person on the inside for quite some time, I’m not sure if they are trying to negotiate with that person.
“There’s around eight police cars, CID, ambulances and the response unit all surrounding the school.
“It looks like a pretty major incident.”
Police Scotland confirmed it was not a hostage situation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.15pm on Tuesday, January 18, police attended a disturbance and concern for person call in Morar Drive, Paisley.
“There are no reports of anyone injured and officers are currently at the scene.”
