A Lanarkshire road has been closed this morning following a two vehicle crash.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident on the A723 Carfin to Holytown Link road, which has been closed to all traffic until further notice.
It is currently unsure if anyone has been hurt in the crash.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told Lanarkshire Live : "We were called around 5.45am on Tuesday, 12 April, to a report of a two vehicle crash on the A723 Carfin to Holytown link road, Motherwell.
"Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed."
