Graham Potter has admitted he does not know the extent of Reece James' just yet after the Chelsea defender limped off in the 2-0 win against Bournemouth.
James was making his return from a knee injury that kept him out of the World Cup in Qatar but then came off in the second-half in an incident near the touchline that seemed pretty innocuous. Now, Potter has confirmed there is no official update just yet, but has revealed how disappointed James was when they spoke after the game.
"No, not really [an update]. Too soon, but it's in the same area so it's a concern," James said. "We'll see in the next 24 or 48 hours.

"It's too soon at the moment. But the action to chop, he felt something there. We have to keep our fingers crossed at the moment.
"He's disappointed. Of course he is. At the moment, we're just hoping it's not as bad and we keep our fingers crossed."
It's so unfortunate for James, who has just returned to action. The Chelsea right-back will be desperate for the problem to not be as serious as the one before, but time will tell regarding that.
Chelsea won the match 2-0, thanks to goals from Kai Havertz and Mason Mount. The Blues looked brilliant, especially in the first-half, but James' injury seemed to cause some uncertainty with the players on the pitch.
"Reece was playing well and he's a top player," Potter explained. "As much as people believe we think coaches are magicians, believe you me when Reece is playing it makes it much easier."
