Chelsea star Christian Pulisic is the latest of a long list of injury worries for the Blues as the USMNT international came off injured in the clash with Manchester City. The forward came off halfway through the first-half after coming off worse in a last ditch tackle made by John Stones in the box.
Pulisic was visibly distressed as he went down twice following the challenge, eventually being replaced by Carney Chukwuemeka by Graham Potter. The winger was the second concern of the night as Raheem Sterling had been brought off with what appeared to be a hamstring concern shortly before.
It stacks up the manager's injury concerns as the Blues now have as many as ten first-team players absent through injury worries. Mason Mount was the latest to join the list before the two within the game, having suffered a concern in training just a day before the City clash.

Potter addressed his absence before the game, saying: "No, he [Mount] had a kick in training yesterday. It never rains but it pours as they say." The last part refers to the fact the manager already had seven players missing for the clash, with Edouard Mendy, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell, N'Golo Kante, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Armando Broja all on the treatment table.
The manager also alluded to the fact that a lack of consistent results has also come from a lack of players to select from, telling Sky Sports: "I think you need to be consistent with the shape. Try to be consistent with the players we have - having said that we played Bournemouth here last game and we’ve lost Reece James and Mason Mount from the starting 11 - that’s just the life you have as a football manager.
"I’m not the only one to complain about these sorts of things, they’re the challenges that you have, so that affects your consistency. And when you’re playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday, it’s nice to say we’ve got 11 players we’re going to roll them out all the time, but that’s not the reality that we have.
"You have to adjust, and in the meantime if results don’t go well, then of course you know you’re always going to get criticism for that. If you don’t change formation and you lose, you get criticised for that, so it is what it is, you have to accept it."
It remains to be seen how long the latest three players will be missing for, with the side lacking some key players ahead of a number of key fixtures.
