Bruno Saltor has revealed the Chelsea squad will be upset and disappointed with the decision to sack Graham Potter.
Potter was relieved of his duties on Sunday evening, just 24 hours after the Blues suffered another defeat at the hands of Aston Villa in front of a frustrated Stamford Bridge crowd. Bruno, who worked under Potter, will now take charge of Chelsea on a temporary basis with a Premier League clash with Liverpool on Tuesday night.
"I just spoke to Graham five minutes ago," Bruno said to reporters. "Obviously it has been a difficult 24 hours for all of us, the staff and families and now we have to live with the situation."

He added: "I've not seen the players yet, we have an afternoon session plan. We are all responsible and need to keep focused on tomorrow's game.
"I've spoken to them [the owners], they have been supportive. I am focused on tomorrow's game."
Asked what the players' reaction will be, Bruno replied: "They will be sad because they know the level of human being Graham is."
Bruno will now prepare his Chelsea side to take on Liverpool who have also massively underperformed this season. The Reds were beaten 4-1 at the hands of Manchester City at the weekend and Bruno sees it as an opportunity for his players to get back on track.
"[We] see it as an opportunity for the players," the Chelsea caretaker boss continued. "It's about winning and preparation helps."
He added: "Huge admiration towards Jurgen. They're going through a tough season but they have top players. We need to be ready."
