Strike action by BA check-in staff at Heathrow airport has been suspended after the company made an improved pay offer, Unite the union has said.
Unions representing about 700 staff at Heathrow Airport say they've paused the threat of industrial action at the London travel hub.
It follows nine hours of negotiations on Wednesday, the BBC reports.
If an "agreement in principle" is reach, it could then be put to GMB and Unite union members for their approval.
Last month, workers, who are mostly check-in staff, voted to go on strike over pay, which was cut during the pandemic and not fully reversed.
