Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has officially joined Olympique Marseille after spending last season on loan at the Ligue 1 club.
A statement on Arsenal's website read: "Midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has joined Olympique Marseille in a permanent transfer.
"As part of the agreement with Marseille, Matteo has made his move permanent after spending 2021/22 on loan with the Ligue 1 club, during which time he became an integral part of their side, making 56 appearances in all competitions during the campaign."

Arsenal went onto thank the Frenchman for his contribution to the club over the past few years: "Everyone at Arsenal thanks Matteo for his contribution during his time with us and wish him all the best in this next chapter of his career," the statement added. "The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes."
Guendouzi joined the Gunners at the beginning of Unai Emery's tenure as head coach. He immediately showed that he was a tremendous talent as he earned a regular spot in the midfield.
However, Emery leaving the club sparked the beginning of Guendouzi's Arsenal downfall. Several issues of misconduct meant that he clashed with new manager Mikel Arteta and it meant his days were ultimately numbered in red and white.
He was eventually loaned to Bundesliga outfit Hertha BSC, before spending last season on loan at Marseille.
Some Arsenal fans will be happy about his departure, whilst others will be wondering what could've been.
